About Test C&k Coolum Childcare Centre
C&K Coolum Community Child Care has been part of the Coolum Community for the past 23 years, opening on the 30th May 1992.
It is a purpose built spaciouse 3 room service with the ability to open up rooms to allow them to join together and open the indoors to the outdoors play spaces.
We provide care and education for childrenaged from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
The centre is built around a central court yard which is accessable from the Pre-Kindy and Kindy rooms.
Children have access to this area throughout the day.
One represents the Undumbi legend of the Kabi Kabi language grouping telling a story of the Coolum area, the 2nd mural represents the children of our community and their journey, their stories of living in the Coolum area, and their reflective connections to the animals, natural environment and the community.
These Murals were gifted to us by the Artist Sam Jones.
They take pride of place in the court yard.
