About Test Kelso Children's Centre
Our care and education service is open from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm and provides quality long day care and education for children aged birth to six years.
In addition to quality care and education, the centre provides nappies and nutritious meals as part of the fees.
We believe in our children learning the importance of protecting and respecting the environment and we make all attempts to "reduce, recycle and reuse".
We have a number of herb gardens across all yards and the children and educators grow and tend to these.
We have second generation Pekin chickens and with the help of the children, we nurture them to ensure we develop an understanding of caring for these cute creatures.
I believe in the importance of consistently ensuring a warm, caring and inclusive environment, where we work in partnership with parents to develop a family centred and interest based program for the children in our care.
I believe that I have developed, through experience and the regular review of my own practices and beliefs, an understanding of children and families from our community and strive to ensure the provision of high quality care to children and their families.
Family centred practice is based upon the acknowledgement of parents as the primary care givers and teachers of their child.
