I have been working in the early childhood sector for over 12 years, with experience in childcare, kindergarten and primary school.
Since completing my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education in 2011 I have been involved in strategy and operational management of childcare services and within long day care and the family day care sector, quality assurance, compliance, professional development and consultancy.
I have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework and am able to lead a team to think creatively and develop new and innovative ways to program for children's learning.
Having two children of my own has also provided me with personal experience in child development and has enhanced my knowledge of the education sector.
I believe parents are children's first educators and are the experts on their children.
It is our responsibility to establish and maintain relationships with the families, so we can work collaboratively to provide all children with quality, holistic care and education.
