About Test West Hawthorn Early Childhood Centre
West Hawthorn Early Childhood Centre and Kindergarten is a not for profit, community managed long daycare and funded Kindergarten.
We are a small 40 place Centre that has been in continuous operation for over 25 years and are fully accredited.
The Centre was assessed against the National Quality Standard for Early Childhood Education and Care in January 2014.
The centre received the highest rating of "Exceeding" in all seven (7) quality areas giving the Centre an overall rating of Exceeding.
As a community (parent) managed Centre, families are engaged in various activities throughout the year such as fundraising events, working bees, AGM's etc.
Our facilities are owned by and maintained by the City of Boroondara.
We aim to create an environment that is homely, nurturing and educational as well as fun and safe.
